Sweets and his jamaican accent made this movie even more fun to look at.

Definitely great movie! It's just too bad Canada can't promote their movies a little more. Great job on the over all picture. It was nice to see a movie and have familiar surroundings in the background. If you are a romantic comedy type person, it's a must see!

Will I ever learn not to trust the Globe & Mail's Rick Groen? First Cold Mountain, now this dud. You have the worst taste, Rick. Nonetheless, I went in with high hopes for something out of the ordinary and came out thoroughly underwhelmed. By the end, I didn't care for anyone in this movie. I was just glad it was over. As to Ed Robertson of the Barenaked Ladies, his acting is on par with his crap songwriting. [...]

Another waste of money, I went to go see this movie out of curiosity I wasn't expecting much, and I got even less. This is the kind of movie where your watching it and at the same time your wondering if your turned off the oven and locked the door properly. A must not see or rent at all.

This was a very funny, enjoyable movie, but it left me feeling a little uncomfortable. The impression it created of black people living in a segregated society within the larger city does not accord with the real Toronto. And it serves to perpetuate American stereotypes of black men as promiscuous, sexist, and foul-mouthed.

I went to this movie by chance not knowing what to expect. I left the theatre thoroughly entertained. If you liked love Jones, this is much better. It's a must see!

Finally a film with an all black cast not about gangsters or a quirky comedic love story filled with playas. This film is real and gave me a sense that this could easily be someone I know or even be me.

I have to agree with the previous reviewer. The movie was both funny and smart. I enjoyed it even more because the movie doesn't pretend it's american... we see Canadian money, canadian skyline, actors/rappers etc... absolutely a good, different movie. Worth to watch.

One of the best movies I've seen in a while. And it also happens to be made by Canadians. Very Funny. This is probably one of the few romantic comedies that I would recommend for both ladies and gents. A must see! With the $6 off coupon, you really have no excuse not to see this.

Hilarious and sensual all rolled into one. I applaud the director David "Sudz" Southerland and the producer Jennifer Holness on a wonderfully funny yet warm film that addresses issues "impotence" that has the potential to invade any and everyone's relationship at one time or another. I enjoyed it immensely. David, I anxiously await your next film... you are a talented director to be watched. Debra in Atlanta ;-)

"Eating the Bones" is a romantic comedy that is actually both romantic and funny. It is also very smart. Take a date or go by yourself, just be sure to go. If not, you're bound to miss out on a film that presents a fresh take on contemporary romance.
