The movie was beautiful, once you realize that it is meant to be a fairy tale and not a recount of someone's life. Not cold, hopeful in its own way.

This movie left me cold. Two human beings so obsessed they ignore the world around them to the detriment of all who know and love them. There are no lessons here, no message, no humanity, nothing of value... a waste of time.

At the very beginning I thought of Big Fish and Amelie. But I don't think it is just a copy. Drama should be use for we watched the movie according to a boy's recollection. Give up comparing or you will miss a quite good film.

An interesting fantasy mixed with typical Gallic insolence.

A highly imaginative and rich movie. Very Amelie type but less dramatic. You have to understand French to fully enjoy it though... many things are lost in translation.

It starts as an amélin poulain wanabee, but the thing is, it's not as beautiful. It actually give you headache at some point. This movie is a cheap soap. Its repetitive, never ending. You can guess the end after the first half an hour. It has too much drama for nothing. Drama is good, but not when use in vain. Its always the same problem that comes back. This is nothing like amélie, and did I say the use of colour is somehow the same. This movie wants to be original, but its just a bad copy of amélie.
