It is just amazing, the pictures, the surfers everyhting! The only reason you would not like this movie is that you are scared of water like my grandmother, if not go see it!

Wow... tightly put together and jawdropping. Reminded me a bit of Billabong Surf Oddysey documentary with the footage.

I loved it. Can't articulate how great this Peralta guy is. He is everything Moore isn't.

It's hard to encapsulate the history of big wave surfing in under 2 hours, but this film manages to do just that, breaking it down into 3 specific periods of time with certain people and telling their story in a way that makes you care about them. As a surfer I could totally relate to everything in the film. There really is a fraternity of surfing, and I wonder if the non-surfers who see this film really get the idea. I think they do because it's so well done, but it's hard to relay the feeling of taking off on a big wave, but if I had to do it, I would make someone watch this film if they could not do it themselves.

Very good development of the theme and origin of the sport. As a surfer, I felt as droping in on the gargantuan behemoths! Stacy (Peralta) rocked hard on this one..
