Great movie! I loved the elements from the book that are in it. In my opinion, it was a lot better than the original (except for the aliens, which are less freaky in this one)

This is Spielberg's latest most trying movie he has ever done. He did okay with Munich and Indiana Jones, but his career isn't really going anywhere anymore. And Tom Cruise isn't a very good actor. And Dakota Fanning, well she has issues. But this movie is very entertaining and powerful. It is a brilliant film. Good stuff.

Average movie all around. I went to high school with the guy that play robbie in this film. He did pretty good for his role.

THis is such a good movie. I was so nervous and I couldn't wait until the next scene I was afraid that, oh are they gonna get caught or something. It was sad when the son wanted to join the army and happy when he came back. So gross at the end with the blood and alien... o well its an must see!!!

Steven Spielberg... I knew just by his name )))Wow, what a movie!.. great effects... I didn't see the original, but I will now just to compare them... I got scared a few times and this is not my type of movie but just because it kept me going, I loved it.
