A «must» see film!! Something to think about... for hours after the show.

One of those movies that are truly worth the Oscar for Best Picture of the year. It is not common to find a film that can engulf you that much, make you care and suffer for the fate of the characters, and which touches your feelings. Nearly perfect in every way, it incorporates excellent play by characters, effective directing, and an excellent screen play. A film that, without doubt, will become a classic.

One of my favourite movies of all-time! The fact that it raised awareness and brought to life so many social and racial issues was great, but this wasn't the main reason I love it so much. I loved this movie because it accomplished the great feat of making me genuinely care about each and every one of the characters (except Sandra Bullock haha), even though many of them only had a couple of scenes in the movie. The sequence of events was great and, unlike a few unintelligent folks have suggested, it was NOT AT ALL contrived. Overall, a fantastic movie and well deserving of it's oscar for best picture!

Crash is one of the most intense movies I have seen in awhile. A bit like "6 degrees of separation"... Lives of different people meld together and anre intertwined during a 24 hour period in LA. Intense, brooding, disturbing, uplifting... Your emotions will go on a roller coaster ride. A must see film.

This movie is amazing. It doesn't surprise me at all that a Canadian directed this film because it seems to portray events that many face, especially those living in a multi-cultural society. The film makes you realise that everyone has their prejudices against each other but at the same time everyone can prove to be a blessing to others, regardless of race. If you like movies that make you contemplate your surroundings and films that touch home, this is definitely a movie to go watch.

Very good, went to see it cause of its ratings. I was happily surprised. Shows realistics persons, good performance from actors that have something to say. Depicts well LA, the diversity of people and their interactions... Good american movie, rare those days..

At first it seems very base with all the raw language and bad behavior. Then its genius is known when the meaning of Crash is revealed.'People are so isolated they have to crash into each other just to know they are alive. The theme harkens back to the classic Cain and Abel story, a Bibical lesson in brotherly love whereby God asks Abel "Where is your brother? " and Abel replies angrily, "Am I my brother's keeper? " The moral behind both the story and the movie is that when you find a world where no one takes reponsibility for how others are treated, it is a hard, cruel world indeed. Hence, Crash is a mirror to us all: how not to have the kind of world no one wants.

Get ready to see every conceivable stereotype in North America all over again!! It is truly a sad portrayal of "life in the big city" with all the dialogue worthy of a Jerry Springers show. Some scenes are emotionally charged. This is the Hollywood version of "Amores Perros" (2000) by the Mexican Director Alejandro González Iñárritu. The Mexican movie is much better and well presented!

A classic story of the human condition. You see yourself in every character as he exhibits "good" and sometimes "bad" qualities. It shows that every human emotion comes in a variety of colours and situations. I've seen the movie twice and was fully engaged both times.

I went to see this movie last night. I knew nothing about it, except that it won the award for best movie and that it was about racism. It was excellent. I was very impressed that a movie that dealt with a difficult topic like racism won the award.

Good movie, definitely tugs at the heart strings, but also oversimplifies the issues. Racism is usually a lot more subtle in our society than the blatant racism and hypocrisy in Crash. Still a very good movie that anyone would enjoy.
