A beautiful movie from the start, it captures you right away, it will make you wanna cry, laugh and yell. So many emotions you feel during an hour and a half, its amazing. Great actors, it's wonderfully written, a must see. A classic!

I saw this movie as validation of one's core belief (faith) in the face of difficult tests & trials. I especially enjoyed seeing the private little "miracles" that happened along the way and particularly in response to genuine, and sincere prayer. Baruch HaShem!

Great movie and from what I understand they filmed on only a 1 million dollar budget!

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] Very good movie, serious and funny! There were some kind of inconsistancies: Moshe got 1000 Shekels he spent some of it to buy food, earings for her wife, gives some to his friend but then he goes buying that citron for a 1000 Shekel... how come he still has a 1000?

A magic film showing the life of devout Hassidic Jews, rarely captured from the inside, and too often caricatured by the ignorant and/or malicious. The main characters and their community are affecting in their simple - much-tested - faith. Their visitors are another story... altogether.

Very good cinema. You may learn how to love with this one. Definitely not an «empty» movie.
