This was a great movie, it's very disturbing, too bad the ending in the movie isn't what happens in real life. It should have had more media, if you liked it, check out hard candy.
This movie was so under-rated when it was released. A true gem! I applaud Mira Sorvino for her role and all of the people involved in bringing out this story. It's absolutely appalling what people would do for money. This movie and reality can be hard for many to take in... It isn't for the weak of hearts... But what it is better... Simply ignoring this reality? That makes us part of the problem!
I watched this movie and I found it very interesting: it talks about an important issue we usually are not interested at, maybe because we think it's far from us or something like that... actually, like we can see in this film, this reality is not so far, it could be very near but we don't see it or, worse, we choose to ignore it. All of the actors had made a magnificent job, they showed us very well the world of human trafficking. This movie can teach a lot about aspects of the world we don't know, and must be absolutely seen..
My sister and me loved the movie. We think all the actors and actresses did an amazing job. We were moved by it. Amazing, the acting was really atrocious but it brings up a very serious issue. The content evokes strong emotions. It gets the information accross well.
