Well the Spider-Man series is pretty much a sure bet for action/fantasy, but this one is by far the slowest. There are portions that are just slow, boring and painful. People were grumbling all over the theatre about durning some parts. I know it's probably because they're trying to follow the comic book, but even the comic suffered from long, drawn-out boring story lines. So if you can look past that, the action is great as usual. There is a much darker tone to the movie as the evil suit takes over, and lots more killing in this movie. NOT for young choldren, and I saw a few parents who did not have enough sense to know what an appropriate age would be. After seeing this movie, it's good that I don't have young ones who will imitate all of the stupid parts "I like being bad" or "if you want forgiveness, get religion". Fight scenes are also more brutal, and some acting real corny at times (one scene in particular) But whatever, I'm glad the filmakers could have some fun with it.
