User's review

Beautiful, lyrical, young, mature, frivolous, grave, lavish. A lovely summary of Antonia Fraser's intricate and accurate biography on Marie-Antoinette. To those who found it dull to watch M-A lounge and dream and fret and spend: such was her life, and as historical truth, it merits consideration. If you're an action-lover or horror junkie, skip the historical dramas and skip all of Sofia Coppola's work.
