I liked this movie because it is about an 11 year old girl who solves a lot of problems on her own. She can only use the stuff you can find on an Island. She has a lot of friends who are animals like a sea lion and a lizard. It was amazing that she could survive on her own without any adult care. It was sad when her dad almost drowns. It's also sad when she got a long cut on her leg.
