A lot of movie reviews I have read say that Gamer is a just a cheap carbon copy of movies life Death Race and Rollerball while I do admit they do share a common similarity that if a person wins enough matches they get set free but really to me that's there only real similarity besides all three being hollywood action movies. I mean there is no mention or presence of mind control in Death Race and neither is there in Rollerball. Anyways the action is perfect, the acting is superb I think both Gerard Butler and Michael C. Hall did perfect jobs, and the odd bit of comedy is well placed I might add. One part I really didn't get was why was Gerard Butler's character called Kable and whenever anybody calls him Kable he corrects them by saying my name is John Tillman not Kable I thought the nickname would have some kind of meaning like he relied heavily on electrical weapons or something but that's my only complaint really and if you think about it it is very minuscule so it doesn't really matter in the end. Anyways perfect show my favorite of the summer and recommended to pretty much anybody who has hit there teens excellent show surprisingly intelligent.
10/10
