Be well rested when you see this movie. This is a great asian horror movie. Great acting play from Cheng Pei Pei and Regan Oey who plays mother and son. It's quite a performance for Regan to be able to act so well and had great facial expressions in this movie considering that his young age.

A creepy feeling will run through your veins as the movie begins. A short movie leaving you wanting to see more and in addition, the performance of an adorable brown-eyed new comer youngster Regan Oey acting alongside leading women Jamie King (White Chicks, Cheaper by the Dozen 2, Sin City 1 & 2 and Cheng Pei Pei (Hidden Dragon Crouching Tiger, Shanghai Baby, The Counting House) make They Wait the perfect scary movie.

A terrific horor movie without the usual "over the top" and unnecessary cliches. Wonderful acting by the cute new comer Regan Oey alongside other verterans Jaime King and Cheng Pai Pei. A must see!!

The movie one of the best I have seen in a long time. It is so scary it makes me jump out of my skin... the special effect was real and the performance especially of young Regan Oey is awesome - he worked so hard and with ease he just made the whole thing believable... a MUST SEE!!! The performances are excellent, with King providing a solid anchor for the film as the desperate mother prepared to go to great lengths to save her son. Regan Oey who plays her son is also outstanding, finding ways to convey great emotion and fear with a few simple looks. The visual effects are also very good, and will definitely make people jump out of their seats. If you love watching audiences leave their seats, this is a great movie to check out. Director Ernie Barbarash does a great job with the material, and manages to create a unique look for the ghostly subject matter. Solid performances from Jamie King, Cheng Pei Pei and Regan Oey are definitely BIG Pluses. Hooray for Canada! An ultra-creepy tone, a tight and efficient running time and the performances of an adorable brown-eyed youngster Regan Oey and an evocative leading woman in Jamie King make They Wait the perfect scary movie. The film boasts a rich visual texture, both in gory scenes and periods of exposition. The jump-out-of-your seat moments come fast and furious, and performances from Jamie King, Cheng Pei Pei and Regan Oey makes this one a perfect scary movie. Fans of Japanese horror will find as many if not more intense scares than they're accustomed to. An ultra-creepy tone and the performances of an adorable brown-eyed youngster: Regan Oey - whom you wil see great things... Horay for Vancouver for providing the backdrop of this movie. Very believable and terrific acting from a brown eyed new comer - Regan along side veterans Cheng Pei Pei and Jamie King. Must see!!! I normally dont cry during scary movies - but Jamie King provides such as moving performance that I was teary eyed as well as creeped out during the movie... !!! Terrifically fantastic!!
