The Rock was awesome. Im not a fan of the Rock as an actor but this movie was exciting. It had great action scenes (especially in the casino) and the humor was there. Knoxville was even better. This movie just was exciting and kept you on the edge. It was super entertaining.

Very poor movie. The ratings the movies receive mystify me. Why would my age/gender group rate this 8.2? To start with, the story is short enough, and you don't need a genius to realize they added a boring half hour of absolutely nothing at the beginning of the movie to lengthen it. So what does it start with? Irrelevant every day dialogue. The plot is so empty you could start the movie half an hour into it and still understand what's going on. Secondly, whoever wrote the script does not have a rich vocabulary: the characters use simple words and simple sentences; it all adds up to very boring dialogue. A group of CEGEP students could have easily written a much more interesting script. Thirdly, it is too apparent "The Rock" was hired for physical appearance rather than acting talent. He remains monotonous throughout the movie, much like the Terminator. All in all, a very poor movie; I am still trying to figure out why the movie was heavily overrated.

There was a lot of violence in this movie! I'll just say that it isn't for the faint of heart! It was also a bit to short not even an hour and a half!

The Rock certainly looked natural in this movie. His acting is very good. The story is pretty interesting. One man team works for me. ROCKY ROCKY ROCKY.
