This was funny. People all around me were breaking out laughing in an otherwise empty theatre. Looked like room for some improve for some of the scenes. Like the Beatles scene.

A decent paradoy of the celebrity Music Star journey. Humorous and direct.

Enjoyable throughout. None of the comedy bits really missed. I was laughing out loud off and on throughout the movie. Those that are calling it a horrible movie either have incredibly high standards or not much of a sense of humour. Nice to see Tim Meadows, he was great.

I think this bizarre mish-mash is the worst movie I've ever seen. Only reason I didn't just walk out was that I wanted to see the second feature, Across the Universe.

I thought this movie was quite funny. I especially liked the scenes with Tim Meadows describing various narcotics and their side effects.

It's worth checking out for the "that's amore" bit, not bad, could have been much more humorous.

John C. Reilly should certainly receive an Oscar nomination for his portrayal. I started laughing at the beginning of the movie and never stopped. Aside the obvious wink at Walk the line, this film touches base with the cultural currents from the 60's throught the 90's. Great entertainment.

Definitely wasn't worth the money. All the funny parts were in the trailer. The humour is "un-intelligent" for lack of a better word. I can see 12 yr old boys loving the humor but its very overblown altogether. Worth watching on tbs some night 3 yrs from now but if it's not free, don't bother.

I did not want to see this movie, but my boyfriend talked me into it. What a mistake that was. It was horrible, not funny at all. The jokes got repetitive and tiring, the nudity was very unnecessary, especially when used in a comedic context. Wow, it's a penis, funny ha ha. NO. My boyfriend even hated this and he was the one who wanted to see this. Very, very disappointing. Please save your money folks! Sit this one out.

You have to be over 25 to really get alot of the humor in this film. I can see a 16 year old going why is that funny and the film does throw in some humor for them but the main story is probably too tied in to singers like J Cash and buddy holly for anyone younger to really appreciate this film.
