INCREDIBLE movie. I've rarely seen such good use of animation (and I've seen a LOT of anime). Comparing that to Pokemon is pure stupidity; they are so unidentical, in form, style and depth that it leaves people speechless. However, I sincerely hope that when you DO go see this movie, you won't be stuck with unnerving 'otaku' (rabid fans) who laugh at all the most ridiculous times for no absolute reason, as it ruins the whole atmosphere. Seeing this movie is essential in that it will bring higher revenue, and maybe then Miramax (and Disney, it's parent company) will wake up and put it in more theaters, or will introduce more anime to North America. Neil Gaiman did an excellent job with the script translation and adaptation, the character voices are also quite good (although they can't surpass the japanese ones) and the animation is just superb. Why miss it?
