I loved the film, because I loved it's dark themes very much with the grotesque-imagery & human-sacrifice themes. It's definitely my favorite out of all the Indiana Jones movies, & not just all 3 but the fourth as well. Mola Ram is easily my favorite Indy-villain, with his bald, painted head & ceremonial-robes, this was very heavily inspired by 1939 British-Empire film Gunga Din starring Cary Grant, Victor Mcglaglen & Douglas Fairbanks Jr. They three also have to fight the thuggee-cult like Indy & his friends do in Temple Of Doom. I know everyone doesn't like it the way they do Raiders. But this is my favorite I don't what other people think or even say.

It is way more fun than the first one. The Temple of Doom is very entertaining. Yet it has a lot of flaws and dissapointments which make you a bit unsatisfied. As usual it's a sequel so it won't be as good or better than the first. Compared to the first one's originality this one simply sucks. It kind of makes the series look bad. The first 45 minutes was amazing. It was unique, even though it wasn't corresponding to the fun of Indiana Jones. Despite some clunk subplots which make it look like a James Bond adventure. Because when it shows Dr. Jones wearing a white suite with a blazer and his gambling between some Japanese folk. It seemed like a hip, really cool 007 typical style. Which the rest wasn't. The first hour was kind of rushed. Yet it is unique in it's way of being in a new country and new type of style. I liked how it described the situation at hand. Then once they arrive the Temple, it goes straight off into poltergeist. They take the Aztec heritage as a subplot, and dark and creepy methods for it to blend into an unusual reailty. While the last 45 minutes is pure kick-ass. It has non-stop action. It has several action sequences. So despite it's boring, clunky, and rushed first hour and 25 minutes. It gets even better, and it succeeds. It ain't anything special, but everything seems average and cool with the trilogy. It's a pretty average sequel.

What can I say? It' Harrison Ford. The dinner scene is one of the funniest I've seen in a long time.
