This was one of the best movies I have ever saw. I agree that the beginning of the movie is a bit strange, but if you wait 15 to 20 minutes you will start to understand it.

Masterpiece! A wonderwork of casting, cinimatography, and surrealistic style. A fitting follow up to Time Bandits, and artistic prelude to the masterwork Brazil. Very understandable how the merits of this film go unpraised by the typical hollywood film fan.

Weird movie... I have read that book long time ago with big pleasure but the movie is good for nothing, I was disappointed.
