Great movie... I really felt I was living the movie along with Cash and June. I was amazed to see some of my own emotions and experiences come to life on screen. The ending couldn't have been better.

I loved Walk The Line when I saw the previews for the movie it looked ok but then when my mom was watching it on tv, I fell in love with the movie. Also Joaquin Phoneix is an excellent actor. So go see the movie because it was breath taking.

The best love story I've ever heard. It gave me goose bumps. Joaquin is amazing as always but in this movie he truly became the character. He made us forget he was Joaquin and made us believe he was Johnny throughout the entire film.

I grew up on Johnny Cash music. I bought the DVD before even seeing the movie. It is one of the most endearing true love stories ever. She was his world. The movie does a great job of portraying the life of Johnny Cash.

The stars came as close to the original characters as I have ever seen and I was amazed that the singing was as close to original as it was. In fact I have the sound track cd because of the quality of the renditions.

Who would have thought John lived a life that was minute by minute no different than "Ray" Charles. NOTHING happens in this for the first half hour. Waaay too long, that half hour could have been summed up in under 5 minutes, and kept the show moving.

I wasn't a fan of Johnny Cash before I saw that movie... for the past few days... I've been listening to him ALL THE TIME... The movie is AMAZING! I didn't want to see it at first, because everyone in the music industry that took drugs now have their movie... but they've been trying for 10 years to make that movie and it was worth the time and effort. Joaquin Phoenix and Reese Witherspoon have such a good chemistry! Thumbs WAY up to Joaquin! His voice, his acting, everything's PERFECT!

This was a great movie, the thing I loved the most was how they really had to learn to sing on their own... they did an amazing job. Movie is pretty long though so you have to be in the mood to watch a longer movie.

I am only 16 and touched by this story. I have always found Johnny cash, as a great singer. But this movie took it to a whole new level. I love this moive great acting great music and the life of Johnny is potrayed very well by Joaquin. Thanks.

This was a very good movie that told the story of Jonny Cash's life in a straight forward "beginning, middle and end" manner. The performances by Phoenix and Witherspoon are excellent and anchor the film very well. The music, as performed by the two leads, is very exciting and authentic. I bought the soundtrack the next day and also an album by Jonny Cash himself.

I totally loved it!!! I am not a Johnny Cash fan either but my toes were tapping through it! A great movie!!! Reese Witherspoon was excellent. They both were. This should have won for Best Picture. He should've gotten an Oscar for Best Actor.

I was so taken by Joaquim Phoenix empathy and coming out of a tormented childhood cruel memory that for me he is no number 1 and I. Ve been a movie fan ( freelance writer) for a long time. In fact I am buying the soundtrack with his voice-as much as I liked Johnny Cash I want his voice and depth and feelings to listen to and I hope he gets to read this for the inspiration he has given me after great loss and going on.

Omg this movie was SO great! Reese Witherspoon did an exceptional job! She so deserved best actress! But what I am suprised about is that Joaquin Pheonix didn't get best actor, because he did amazing! I loved this movie so much, it was so interesting and Reese and Joaquin are such awesome signers! Everyone please go and see it! You'll love it like I did!

Excellent movie, loved the singing. I must warn everyone that the soundtrack for the movie is very poorly done though, I was so looking forward to listening to Phoenix and Witherspoon but for some reason a) the tracks on the CD are incorrectly ordered compared to what the back says and b) the quality of the recording is WAY worse than in the movie, very quiet and muted, with none of the energy of the movie (they're not singing quietly it's the recording quality, it sounds like you're hearing it from far away) What a shame they should do such a great job with the movie and blow the soundtrack.

It doesn't matter whether you are interested in Johnny Cash or not... you must see this movie to see what acting really is. Joaquin Phoenix and Reese Whitherspoon give two of the best performances I have ever seen. It is worth it just to see the magic they create. Who would have thought after legally blonde that Reese could win an Oscor. I've always known Joaquin was special, but he is phenomenal in this role. He will eventually get an Oscar, just not this year.

I have never been a fan of country music and had only vaguely heard of Johnny Cash. When I saw Walk the Line I could not stay still in my seat. In fact I have been to see this film three times and would not tire of seeing it yet again. However, the highlight of this movie for me was Joaquim Phoenix. He just makes me weak at the knees; I adore him; I think he is a totally sincere actor with enormous talent and just so handsome. He oozes passion and at the same time is disarmingly endearing for his vulnerability. I think he is truly God's gift to woman. I was deeply disappointed that he was overlooked for best actor in the recent Oscars. For me, and for many of us who much admired his portrayal of Johnny Cash in Walk the Line - not to forget his unforgettable portrayal of Commodus in Gladiator, he is just the best! Go for it Joaquim - you are brilliant! You are much admired.
