I don't ever recall a movie that made me clutch my pillow and exhale loudly and with much force at the end of it as The Kingdom. WOW , this movie just grabs you and not only is educational but entertaining and has the most INTENSE last 15 minutes of a movie I have ever seen... a true masterpiece.

Heartbreaking and discouraging--war and conflict change nothing.

A very good movie I really enjoyed it, and the actors were so convincing and the story line was perfect, and they used saudi accent not moroccan like other movies, rent it now...

This movie is simply amazing , go see it, it shows the reality the we live in. The movie is made so well that you at some parts forget it's a movie.

This is one of the greatest messages I got from a movie. It is worth every penny and is a very accurate story about what is happening.

Having lived in the Middle East I found the characters & story very shallow.

Hi, I am a Saudi lady who went to see the movie and expected the most offensive Hollywood action yet I was pleases with the result. Yes, the camera man was having seizure sometimes but only during the actions and fights, the story explores how hate between the cultures could be inherited if we stay apart and don not try to treat people individually.

This movie is not what I expected. I must say I was VERY surprised. It was action packed with a combination of nail-biting and constant stress. I would definitely recommend this movie to all those action lovers (although caution the ending is so random)

I would not give it a 10 because the ending is a little bit unpredictable and the camera is moving so fast all the time that almost drove me nuts. But I can see a lot of truth in the story. It is a movie worth watching either at the theatre or at home.

If you like lots of action and stress a little, you should definitely see this movie. Some scenes are harsh but very realistic!

It was a fantastic movie that blew me away! I had such low expectations, but it was not a simple war story. It was about courage, diversity and acceptance. It was incredible!

I generally enjoy most movies I see however simple in content. I felt like I was watching CNN - quite frankly. Cheap on the content but still passed an enjoyable 1+ hours while I waited for my car that was in the shop :)

One of the best action movies of the year. Really surprised that it was smarter than I thought, without being too heavy-handed with right vs wrong. I didn't blink at all in the last 30 minutes, it was that intense.

Can't believe the reviews this movie is getting, worst move since Ishtar and that speaks volumes. Extremely slow, bad musical score, weak plot, poor character development and a final action sequence that is a half hearted attempt at wakening the audience from its slumber.

I was pleasantly surprised. As formulaic as expected, but with a moral ambiguity that I appreciated.

As someone else said: typical American propaganda 'only we can save the world' stuff. Implausible plot line. Pretty good action and acting if you can get by the nonsensical story.

Save your money. This is what I'd call a "C" movie. With a predictable plot, lame acting, you'll yawn your way through this movie.

A few too many ethnic stereotypes for me. A great ending with a message of how the two sides are the same and how things will either not change or get worse on the current path of not understanding how they are the same. But, does that make up for the shallow stereotypes at the beginning? No. Some very inconsistent following of Islamic code that would never happen, so you can tell it was written in Hollywood.

Movie gets off to a slow start and builds to an action-packed ending. So unbelievable, so Hollywood, but entertaining nonetheless. Isn't that what we come for?

Intelligent, but not cerebral. Full of action but not without purpose. This movie was beyond what I expected. I really don't understand why it got so much bad reviews from others on this website. Its actually the poor reviews that lowered my expectations. And boy where the reviews wrong!!!

American BS about how they can fix someone else's country. That said, I enjoyed the action but the story was a bit to be desired.

Good story and great suspense. Just a warning for people who don't like fast-moving camera action... some people left the theatre feeling woozy! Otherwise, a must-see.

I walked out of this movie after 30 minutes because the constantly shaking camera was making my wife and I feel sick. Occasional camera movement is okay for dramatic effect but in this directorial disaster it looks like the cameraperson has Parkinsons Disease. It is so annoying it makes the storyline irrelevant. Its like trying to watch a movie in the back of a van on a rain-washed rocky road. Forget it!

The story started off really good, but kind of fell apart when the action started. It was really tense right up to that part, but I think that something went wrong at that point. Another problem with the movie was the viewpoint of the cinematic director was incredibly jerky. If you have issues with motion sickness, you will feel nauseous halfway through this film.

Ashraf Barhom stole the show. His acting was superb. This movie does have verrry jumpy filming which at times was irritating. On the whole, however, it is a very well-balanced film. The Americans don't come across as "heroes" who save the day as in most Hollywood films. Worth watching but you can wait for the DVD.

I'm really glad I saw this movie. It was one of the best movies I've seen in a while. I'm not one to love action-packed films but this movie felt so real and made me think twice about what really goes on in the world. The ending shows how alike we all are... I fell in love the last two phrases and I will forever ponder on it.

This movie was entertaining and touched all of the political crap that the united states is going through right now. Jamie Foxx was Brilliant. I don't think another actor could have done the part any better.
