I watched it on DVD and I must say it's 100% a kids movie, I didn't find it funny at all... infact my emotions remaind around neutral for most of the movie but my friends 11yr old brother loved it and was trying to dance like the chipmunks... good for the kids *shrug*

Wow. I was really surprised. My family was avoiding it because we thought that it would be another one of those completely unintelligent movies. To my shock, even my dad, who is the kind of guy that doesn't like any animated movies, enjoyed it. I found it very cute. I didn't think that it was a bad idea to make it seem to be so cheerful. I'm glad that it wasn't an intense movie; it was just light and joyous. Very enjoyable. My whole family enjoyed it; and it's unanimous, we all like Theodor the best!! Go see it, if you want a cute, heart warming little family movie!

I went and saw it 3 times and then I bought it. It is such a good movie. The kids laugh but the adults laugh louder. It is so refreshing. It is a must-see.

This is the funniest cooliest movie ever!!! I can't wait to buy it. My favourite chipmunk is Alvin I like the part when he is in the washer mashine and sings. "Don't you wish your girlfriend was hot like me. Don't you wish your girlfriend could rince like me... Ah I am waiting for the rain cycle!!! And I like the part it wasn't with Alvin it was the part when I don't remember who it was but I like the part when she says. "Bow chick a wow wow." [...] :D

That this is rated higher than "There will be Blood" makes me very, very sad. Anyway, all around terrible movie. Didn't like the Chipmunks animated, don't like them in their terrible live action either. Watching this movie was essentially staring at an old brick that says "Norm wuz here" for an hour. And a half.

I saw the movie with two ten year olds. We all laughed throughout the movie. The music was great and the story was warm and fuzzy. Great movie to see with family and friends.

This was a very cute movie. If you dont go into it expecting it to be a cinematic masterpiece you might just really enjoy it for what it is - a kid oriented movie. For a kid's movie its got a solid enough storyline and the chipmunks as well as the story are endearing.
