If you like suspense and terror you'll enjoy this movie. I would have liked them to explore more with the cloning aspect instead of making you jump in your seat. It's something to think about and I'm glad they didn't take a positive line with the movie.

I think it was very excellent. I like tragic and horror movies, and this had both. Although the end could have been better, it still was great.

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] It was the absolute worst!.. story dragged and dragged, predictable and poor story line. The ending was just as pathetic as the whole movie. Question: If the boy's father was hit with a hard instrument and gouged deeply in the back of the head and then left to die in a burning church... then how on earth did the next scene justify him being in the basement with his wife stopping his son Adam from hitting her? (where was the blood from his wound that Robert De Niro gave him a few seconds earlier... story was filled with similar "timing" errors.

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] This movie was off at a good start for the 1st 45minutes or so. Then, it kinda killed itselft with the illogical plots. How can the scientist's maid be so psychotic in her attempt to get rid of the 'evil' boy? [...] Only for the bored and non-logicals.

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] Worth checking out, I liked the concept and storyline, the ending was weak and it was predictable but it still worked the only thing that should have been changed to make it better would have been the fact that the died gets clobberd in the church but makes it home in time to save his wife, looking none worse for the wear.

I was a little upset when my husband brought this movie home from the video store. I thought it was a movie we had seen a few months ago on television that made great promises in its promotions and delivered, well, less than nothing. To my surprise this turned out not to be that movie and to actually be one of the best movies I have seen this year. It is thought provoking, keeps you guessing as to connections and causes throughout while scaring the pants of you. This is the kind of movie you will think about long after it has been returned to the video store, and it is a movie that will be a topic of conversation for a long time. A great story line, great acting and something for the brain to chew on. You can't ask for more than that.

It was a horrible movie. I did not like the ending at all. It took too long to get started, quite tedious at times. This movie did absolutely nothing for me.

Im pretty harsh with movies but I liked this movie. Yes the story is certainly sci-fi, but come on, watch it in that light and you'll enjoy it much more. If youre only argument is that it is not "real" or plausable, well no kidding, you wont like it. Go in expecting an "out-there" story and you'll like it.

This movie has got to be one of the worst movies I've ever seen! It's tied with House of the Dead if not worse!

I can't believe anyone would give this more than a one. This should have been a direct to video movie put it that way. The only thing that may have made this movie any worse would be the addition of Eric Roberts to the cast! You'll probably read this review and think it's an over exageration... so go see the movie come back on here and re-read this comment so that you can shake your head and say "man this guy was right... absolutely horrible! ".

Cloning will be a major topic in the future. This movie tries to turn it into a horror story. Regrettably, the scariest moments had nothing to do with the plot. A shallow, incoherent movie.

Could have been a lot better, but still worth a look. They really should have re-thought that ending... better luck next time.

Absolute garbage. The chance for something good is there but its ruined by this annoying love for jumpy moments that don't make any sense. Does anyone realize this is a child, just punch him and he'll go away, not the scariest villain. Look out, it's a crazy 8 year old, WOW!.. They should have just stuck with some kind of science plot, where the child may go crazy when he could actually do something, like if he was 18.

Honestly, I get scared very easily and this movie isnt scary it just makes u jump cuz of loud music and images that pop up all of a sudden. The story was predictable and not very interesting...

This movie featured a really great cast! I really like Greg Kinnear, the story was really slow and uninteresting, and then ended incomplete... it was pretty bad, rent it if you like the people involved.

I chose to see this film becasue I wanted to see a scary horror movie, and I got what I wanted. I liked the most of the movie but I was frustrated and disappointed with the confusing ending.

The idea of the movie and the trailer made me curious and with good actors it made my expectations really high. But It turn out to be a big disappointment. Don't waste money with this movie.

There are many problems with this movie. The biggest problem is the story which is confusing and sort of silly. This movie is basically a waste of time!

A mediocre movie with a few chills. Great cast, but a very slow-moving plot. I expected a lot more than what was there. The ending (if you could call it that) is a major disappointment. Wait for the rental!

What a waste of time and money. I thought a movie starring Al Pacino would be worth the effort. Many scenes of various life events were portrayed in a very stupid and unrealistic manner. Who calls their husband and leaves a message on the answering machine that their child has died. They seriously couldn't get the father out of his meeting? Need I say more.

Great suspense, I jumped like almost 5 times, the story is missing a little:je ne sais koi:but the good thing is they are living the ending open for the possibilety of a second one. Worth seeing for suspence lover!

This movie HAD potential. The young Cameron Bright who we will continue to see in upcoming films shows strong expression and although some of his lines are not convincing, his performance was still good. Kinnear and Rebecca were okay in their roles, but it still came across as phoney. This plot had the makings of a great horror flick, but it dragged on and when it brought us to the height - it flopped - not scary at all - disappointing. I look forward to seeing Cameron in Birth with Nicole Kidman - this young man deserves a good script.

This movie is worth seeing but its highly predictable. Deniro is extremely good as the mad scientist and he is a good reason to go see this movie. Overall its predictable but still not a waist of money.

This movie had a great cast but it was a huge disappointment! Full of cheap thrills with a predictable plot. Go rent it when it comes out on video if you're REALLY bored.

The movie was good, you will love it if you liked the "sixth sense." The plot and twist was somewhat predicatble from the beginning. Ending could have been better... but typical for this type of movie. Overall, a fun and good movie but you could definitely wait for homevideo for it! Makes you really think about cloning!
