I found it hilarious -- very witty, very perceptive. Yes, it's a black comedy about a self-absorbed jerk who lives entirely in his 'head'. The documentary feel of the film had many original and funny twists. I loved it! The final scene - where the type A personality revealed by a flick of a wrist watch - priceless. Very witty, intelligent writing. The whole film might not be to everyone's taste, but if it is, a real jewel!

I, thankfully, did see this movie free of charge. I still wouldn't mind my time back, though. I think the filmakers etc... had good intentions, but it just went on and on. They could have been more creative and effective with their time.

I felt the movie had a lot of potential to delve into many rather heavy issues (stalking, brutal honesty & casual sex, destructive patterns of behaviour) but that they skip over them without giving any kind of commentary or message about them. I would much rather have enjoyed the crew filming the documentary to have asked poignant questions that would bring those issues to the forefront of the characters mind. I found the movie to be more of a black comedy then straight... just when I felt the characters would reach some kind of revelation and come out more wise from the experience -- it falls flat. I just didn't find that type of comedy enjoyable for that length of time. Its like waiting for a kick in the head to get them on the right track that never comes to fruition. If that is supposed to be the premise of the whole movie well then it carried itself off rather well in that way...

I agree with the last reviewer. It was, unfortunately, really bad - I thought very contrived. I was expecting more and really happy to be supporting a Canadian film. Hoping this film did not receive public funding.

I wish I could be as kind as the rest of the critiques. The screenplay was written by amatures. The movie was relatively well directed but the story line was poor! The acting was passable at best. The whole concept seemed way too rehearsed and scripted to look like a documentary. I am still left wondering what this "innovative" way of breaking up is... There is absolutley no chemistry or connection between the 2 main characters that would make their relationship believable. I didn't laugh once. It is a simple script! Don't bother, really. Rent it someday but have a second movie in hand - a plan B (Magdelaine sisters)!!
