Star Wars V: The Empire Strikes Back [1980] Movie Reviews on CinemaClock

A movie that has the respect of real SF fans but uses a number of truly annoying muppet like characters. In that way it sort of ends up making a mockery of true SF. A meandering storyline doesn't help much either, but compared to seeing a featureless wookie make one of the most irritating vocalizations ever put on film something like 20 times, a meandering storyline isnt all that bad in comparison. Ultimately silly and unsatisfying SF, and frustrating in that respect because the creator of this movie seems to know how to create a good background set re future technology but spoils it completely with kiddy characters. Makes a person feel dumb looking back on seeing it in the big cinema. Really dumb.
