When it comes to the fourth movie in a series The Crystal Skull stands out as one of the great ones, probably since - well, all I can come up with is Alien vs. Predator. This is a formula movie, called Indiana Jones - so you know what you are getting if you saw and enjoyed any of the first 3. Actually, it is probably better than the third. Although Cate Blanchett plays a stereotypical movie character I was impressed with the change from her usual roles.

The Last Crusade is the best of the series. Yet it has a few flaws. It's strange that the film is either based on two perspectives. One on the religous type theme. Or the other on a mythical search. Either way the movie is awesome. It has really good ideas and writing. George Lucas succeeds so well in this. His writing with the Dr. Jones son-and-father thing pretty well made this movie. Especially Sean Connery who makes anough laughter and support for a more likable Indiana Jones. Every scene was remarkable. Despite it's softy touch like the first one, it;s the strongest and best of the series. It could have been a comedy, and at times George Lucas and Steven Spielberg get a bit too carried away with fun. Yet this movie isn't bad. It's a sentiment classic.

This is probably one of my favourite movies... H. F. & S. C. are GOLD my friends. You can't go wrong watching this movie. The best action and story line from way back in the 80s.
