Barley a 4 out of 10 this movie is quite boring, it takes place a while back, but there was 1 minute that was worth watching it for I guess. Don't see it at any theater better to wait til DVD.

A very humorous and entertaining movie. Refreshing in its originality. Great acting, fun plot. Much more than a kid's movie.

A tribute to the love for art. The children actors are superb. The plot is riviting. The low-budget action is imaginative. Finally, it really makes you laugh -- difficult task when it comes to combining good taste and transgression.

I couldn't stop laughing. Worth buying. By far the best comedy in 2008 other than Get Smart. You have to watch that one too. Any ways go see it right now!

Sure this movie is on the smaltzy side sometimes- but it's Great!! It sticks to it's own story-line and captures boy-hood fantasy, playfulness and anguish. Wonderful ending!!

Bill Milner (Will Proudfoot) and Will Poulter (Lee Carter) are just great in this movie; it is touching, funny and at times sad; a good family movie, and in my opinion, it's better than Narnia. Artistically-originality, it scores high! It's not a wide release (too bad) more than likely because it's foreign (France/UK/Germany) but it is in English! Entertaining!

Back the childhood, the world of opend hearts, friendship forever! Tom Sawyer & Heck. Finn. I love this movie and I was praying to see Lee alive at the end. Well done.

Feel good movie, reminds me of "stand by me"... with a british touch. This movie has it all, comedy and drama plus a touch of nostalgia.

This movie was laugh out loud hilarious, and yet deeply poignant and moving. It runs a fine line of real drama and wacky antics. Some of the rare moments of slapstick have to be seen to be believed. I was shedding a tear by the end of it. Both from laughter and because it's so damn moving. Lee Carter must go down in history is one of the best classic kid characters ever. Reminded me a bit of River Pheonix's Chris Chambers of Stand By Me. Go and see this movie, then tell everyone else to! :o)
