This movie was really good, it was really interesting and fun to watch. You'll enjoy a well made movie, it be nice if it was playing at paramount instead of the amc, it would get so much more attention.

This movie is a rehash of the themes we've all seen in genre flicks like The Breakfast Club - though don't knock this - the characters are believable, there is no pretentiousness - Hannah is great! Go see it.

Good qualitative type (!) documentary on the ups and downs of teens during their senior high school year, us of a. It offers a good snapshot, a slice of life of those growing-up (or growing-down!) pains. It made me remember that at age 15, just about everybody around me knew what he or she would do in his or her future. Not me; I was soul searching then, and I do allow myself searching time and again.'American Teen' is worth seeing; you can see it NOW or you can see it in your classroom. Lol Bring skin cream.

Amazing. Hannah is great in the movie. I left the movie wondering where the five people are now. Great soundtrack. I loved it, go see it if you're into reality/documentary type movies or shows. It's a definite must-see whether it's renting or going to the theatre.

Characters not strong enough to carry 1hr30. Very inducive of a strong Who Cares? Reaction. Interesting that these kids might as well've been at a community centre for all the actual 'school' stuff they do (apart from sport)

I loved this movie - and I would encourage teens, their parents and the folks who work with them to catch this candid snapshot of teenage life. It is an opportunity for discussion and its delivery was refreshingly honest.

It is a documentary so it is a bit dry at times but it still keeps you odly captivated and waiting until the end to see what happens. You start to empathize with the characters and discover that yes, teens are smart, they go through heartbreak, the do really stupid moronic pranks, they just want to make people proud of them. Some of it was a little "gag me with the drama" but I liked it, I won't buy it when it comes out on dvd, but I am glad I saw it, and I would watch it if it was on TV.
