It's the funniest movie I've ever seen before! French humor is still beautiful.

I saw this movie based on the positive reviews below. When thinking about how to describe it, the word "mindless" comes to mind. Unless you like very basic, simple humor, don't go.

Absolutely hilarious!! Never laughed that much in a movie theatre in a long time. Great story Line. Without the the gore and over dramatization of Hollywood!

One doesn't need to speak french to follow the movie. I loved it. It held my interest from beginning to end and kept me smiling even long after it ended. Great casting, wonderful characters.

Absolutely hilarious - especially when one figures out either the spoken language or sub-titles! According to what I hear, even the French had problems with the language, but that doesn't detract from the comedy, which we can all understand. What a hoot! I, as an only semi-Francophone, can't remember when I've laughed so much - and aloud - in a film. When is it going to be shown again in Vancouver? I (and several people I've recommended it to) want to see it soon!

I am still learning french, and did not understand it all, however, I laughed so much that I had a tummy ache! This was one of the funniest movies I have seen in a long time.

It was such a pleasure to watch an intelligent movie (there are not too many of those right now at the theatre) It has everything to be a classic! I agree though that it might be difficult to follow if French is not your mother tongue. It is worth every penny to go see and I can guarantee that you will spend a lovely few hours.

I saw this in Paris in March and it is fantastic... so simple but so funny. If you liked "La Grande Seduction" you will love this.

Funny, Funny, Funny! You laugh! This movie is hilarious à la French humour of the days of Pierre Richard and Luis de Funèse. The scenery is beautiful, the actors are great and the jargon is a hoot. A good family film! A great day date movie! It may be a little difficult to comprehend if French is not your mother tongue because of the way they talk. The lingo is off the wall! You'll laughed like you haven't in a long time at the movies!
