A film about the real people of Tibet. These people are so natural and true, they transcent the screen. It's a shame that China invaded their land killed more than a million of them and spoiled all their rights. We must pray that Tibet is freed one day, as soon as possible. These people are an example of wisdom and peace to the whole world.

I think I learned more about human nature in this film than about the Tibetan plight. What is impressive, is that the Dalai Lama says that one must have compassion for his enemies. Mr Bush could learn something here, or can he?

Bravo! A great piece of work, that apparently involved some real courage. The general concern of the Tibetians is of the early demise of Dalai Lama... surely, though, he is teaching those in India that will fill his shoes... ? May this passive culture sustain in their homeland.

Oh my god! What a masterpiece on reality that was! We came out of there as if we had had an out of body experience. Have you ever seen a film where your jaw drops in amazement and you need to talk to other viewers after it's over because you are so troubled, you need to exchange thoughts and discuss portions of the film that shook you with others. This is exactly what we did. First in the cinema, we were kicked out eventually, then at the door for another hour. And... feel you did! The people of Tibet are so pure and unspoiled, they should be declared a "historial society" by the UN and preserved and protected as long as they want to... with full rights. There are tons of resources on what used to be their land and is now declared part of China, forbidding them to be... did I say resources, yes, like oil, gold, uranium... no wonder the Chinese Government wants them erased. With all the riches there, why doesn't Bush invade Tibet to free them from cruel and abusive treatment from the Chinese government... True there is a billion Chinese, and Bush might get worse than 9/11 if he ever attacked. What a world. Will it be possible one day to hope for peace on earth and let those be what they want to be without imposing evolution on those that are happy with what they are. You must see this film. It realy was a masterpiece on a sad reality. Such beautiful people. There was a guard in the cinema throughout the whole film making sure that nobody was there with a camcorder... because the Tibetans who are in this film would be thrown in jail and most probably killed, if someone ever sent this film to the Chinese Government. What a tragedy! [...]
