Le film est plutôt le pilote à la série... et non l'inverse, comme j'ai pu le lire ici. J'ai adoré Mulholland Drive, que j'ai trouvé pas mal plus accompli et travaillé que... Twin Peaks. Ici, le scénario est tordu à souhait, déroutant et déstabilisant. Mon premier réflexe était de trouver une explication et un sens aux absurdités du film... pour finalement comprendre (à tort?) que c'était fort probablement Lynch qui s'était payé un bon trip de champignons magiques. Bien sûr le film était un bon prétexte à lancer une série que je n'ai malheureusement pas regardé à l'époque. Sauf que trop d'extravagance, trop d'absurdité et fausses ambiances psychédéliques auront eu raison de ma mauvaise critiques.

Wow, toute une experience cinématographique! J'ai longtemps hésité avant de voir ce film, étant donné que je n'ai jamais eu la chance de voir la série du même nom, et je l'avoue, je n'ai pas vraiment l'intention de m'acheter le coffret complet qui tourne autour de 80 dollars... Quoi qu'il en soit, j'ai quand même pris soin avant de louer le film, parce que je me disais je n'ai pas le choix de l'écouter... c'est un Lynch bon sens, de m'informer un peu sur la série... je n'ai pas beaucoup trouver d'informations mais au moins je connaissais l'histoire... Le film se passe une semaine avant le début de la série... Les derniers jours de Laura Palmer. Probablement que j'en ai manqué des bouts... il est vrai que j'ai sentit que quelques scènes m'échappaient... Mais malgré tout, j'ai follement apprécié!! Tordu comme toujours, le film est très destabilisant par moment, l'intrigue est vraiment troublante et nous tiens rivé à l'écran... le revirement final est exquis, très bien pensé, vieux Lynch fou :P Je l'adore :D Comme toujours film audacieux et pas du tout conventionnel, les amateurs de Transformers tenez vous loin :P En passant, même si je sens que les chances sont minces, si quelqu'un ici lis ce commentaire et a déjà vu la série complète... serait il possible de m'écrire et de m'expliquer un peu ce qui s'est passé tout au long de la série, et en même temps de me faire part de liens que je n'ai peut-être pas pu saisir en rapport avec la série? J'ai l'impression, entre autre, que l'inspecteur, je ne me souviens plus de son nom, mais celui qui fait des rêves prémonitoires, a jouer un rôle important dans la série?

Une autre réussite de David Lynch... Vraiment, un mixte de thriller, psychologique mais pas trop. À cheal entre l'époque Blue Velvet/Wild at Heart et celle Lost Highway/Mulholland Drive. En passant, la série a été faites APRÈS le film et non avant donc je film n'est pas décousu car il est inspiré d'une série, c'est tout simplement le style lynchiens qui est comme ça!

J'ai appris sur cette page qu'il était derivé d'une serie (que je regarderais si j'en ai l'occasion)et je comprend donc qu'après environ une demi-heure le sens m'ai COMPLETEMENT echappé, au point que j'ai eu un peu de mal a le finir. La note de 5/10 est donc juste pour les personnes dans mon cas, c'est a dire que je pense qu'il est imperatif de connaitre la serie avant de le visionner. Mais bon on apprécie toujours le talent de Lynch, les atmospheres (très derangeantes), le style graphique recherché et les cadrages originaux. Voila.

J'ai adoré le film fire walk with me daccord c'est un film un peu bizzard et on ne comprend pas tout mais c'est ce qui fait qu'il est génial je felicite surtous les acteurs car celas a du être très dur de jouer leurs rôle felicitation pour Sheryl Lee et tous les autres mais aussi bien sûr pour David Lynch.

Je ne sais pas pourquoi, mais je n'ai pas accroché du tout sur ce film. Je trouve l'histoire était complètement décousue et qu'elle manquait de vigueur. Bienque j'admire les oeuvres de Lynch, je dois vous spécifier que si vous avez vu "Blue Velvet", "Lost Highway" ou "Eraserhead" et que vous en êtes sorti pas particulièrement enchanté, je vous déconseille fortement ce film. Je trouve aussi qu'il y a trop de parenthèses inutiles qui réfèrent à la télé-série (que je n'ai pas tout tout écouté d'ailleurs faute de manque de péripéties). J'ai toutefois bien aimé la trame sonore du film, elle est appropriée à l'atmosphère du film.
