N'hésitez pas une seconde, si vous n'avez pas vu ce film louez-le, empruntez-le, mais voyez-le. C'est une histoire magnifique sur la fatalité du destin. Mais ici cette fatalité n'est pas l'oeuvre de Dieu mais bien de notre code génétique. C'est l'histoire de la vicoire de la volonté d'un homme sur un système apparamment inviolable. Un classique du film d'anticipation. Une distribution et un scénario parfaits.

"Gattaca" est remarquable, tant au niveau de sa symbolique, de son visuel et de son histoire. On ne sait pas trop à quelle époque on se situe, mais on sent un renfermement des humains face aux autres. La technologie aurait évolué, mais pas la mentalité humaine. Il règne tout au long du film une atmosphère d'instabilité. La peur qu'on découvre que vous êtes différents du monde dans lequel vous êtes nés. L'époque montrée ressemble au moyen-âge:un fils de paysan deviendra paysan, un fils de chevalier deviendra chevalier et le fils du roi deviendra roi à son tour. Lorqu'un paysan s'imaginait à la place du roi, sur le trône, c'était de la pure folie. Dans "Bienvenue à Gattaca", on voit un homme employer tous les moyens possibles pour accéder à un avenir meilleur. Tous les acteurs sont brilliants, et les exceptions sont rares. Uma Thurman, chapeau, vous êtes une actrice accomplie. Le jeu des couleurs et des images représente aussi un aspect fort intéressant de ce long-métrage immortel. Pour une soirée divertissante et riche en rebondissements, à ne pas manquer...

ADN... clônage... gênes... Ce film est une bonne source de questionnement. Le tout mêlé à un bon suspence et on obtient un résultat plus que satisfaisant. Les acteurs (Thurman, Hawke et Law) sont sans reproche. J'ai adoré le rythme du film, c'est-à-dire pas trop lent mais sûrement pas rapide.

Excellent film de science fiction, je l'ai trouvé très ingénieux... l'histoire est vraiment fascinante, on se retrouve à une époque où l'on peut, dès votre naissance, par la génétique, savoir les % de chances que vous obteniez tel ou tel maladie, et comment vous allez mourir... on peut donc se retrouver condamné, à cause d'une mauvaise fiche, à faire des emplois minables comme le ménage. Le personnage principal se retrouve dans cette situation, bien qu'il rêve d'aller dans l'espace... il a beau avoir d'excellentes notes... sa fiche lui colle à la peau... c'est à partir de ce moment qu'il décidera de tout mettre en oeuvre pour y arriver... c'est vraiment très fort, le plan est génial et le film garde notre intérêt, tout en laissant un beau message... vraiment très bon!

à voir. Gattaca est une excellente histoire d'anticipation qui se tient du debut à la fin. Excellent jeu de comedien par Jude Law, Ethan Hawks et Uma Trumman. La direction photo est très lechee. Une facture classique mais efficace, inspiree des films de Kieslowsky. C'est probablement une des meilleurs films de Sci-Fi jamais realise. Dommage que la plupart des films de Sci-Fi ne soit pas fait avce plus de rigueur, les bons sujets sont pourtant nombreux. PS La version SuperBit vaut la peine si vous possedz une bonne télé ou un projecteur..

J'ai du le regarder pour un essai en philosophie [...] je dois dire que je n'étais pas très ravie de devoir regarder ce film puisque je n'aime pas vraiment les films de science fiction! Mais quelle surprise de voir que le film était si bon! On voit très bien le point de vue déterministe qui est appliqué tout au long du film et j'ai adorée Vincent qui tente de s'échapper de ce monde ou tout est déjà prévu!!! À voir, cela nous fait vraiment réfléchir au monde vers lequel on s'en va...

J'ai vu ce film il y a + de quatre ans lors d'un cours de biologie, je m'en souviens encore comme si c'était hier et je suis heureuse d'avoir enfin retrouvé son titre par hasard et d'être tombé sur une série de sites exposant ce chef d'oeuvre. Il est émouvant, insolite, créatif et traite de questions fondamentales qui traversent plus que jamais l'existance humaine. Nous sommes face à un tournant historique de part les multiples découvertes scientifiques, techniques, médicales et autres. Il me semble dès lors primordial de nous interroger sur l'avenir et le monde de demain qui si nous n'y prenons garde finira bien mal je le crainds...

Gattaca est devenu un de mes fims preferes depuis que je l'ai vu. Franchement, moi qui n'aime pas trop la Science Fiction, et bien j'ai é¨ã»etonnee par ce chef d'oeuvre. Malheureusement, peu de gens le connaisse... Dommage... =)

Comme je le dis souvent: "selon moi le cinéma peut se résumer en deux mots magiques: Kubrick et Gattaca". Pourquoi Kubrick? Tu dois sûrement le savoir sinon je ne peux plus rien pour toi. Quand à Gattaca, il s'agit tout simplement d'un film parfait. J'ai bien dit parfait.

Ce film est absolument excellent! Le scénario, l'ambiance, les couleurs, le jeu des acteurs, la musique... C'est superbe. Un bemol cependant : dans une cité ou l'eugenisme est roi, le heros les accumule un peu avec un souffle au coeur, une myopie, le fait d'être gaucher... Mais ce film est vraiment un incontournable. Dommage qu'il ne soit connu qu'à cause de son thème : ce n'est qu'une raison parmi d'autres de le voir.

Vraiment un film terribel mis a part quelques scènes un peu lourdes, difficile de faire mieux. Le point fort de ce film pour moi c'est pas vraiment l'histoire mais l'ambiance et l'atmosphere du film. J'aime surtous les couleurs! Mais l'histoire est sympa quand même! :)

GATTACA est non seulement le meilleur film d'anticipation que j'ai jamais vu, mais le meilleur film tout court. A chaque fois que je le regarde (je ne les compte plus) , le temps s'arrête. C'est un film d'un humanisme intégral. Quand aux qualités purement cinématographiques, difficile de faire mieux. Une perle.

Gattaca nous parle d'un futur proche, ce film est non seulement réaliste mais également optimiste. Le réalisateur nous parle de l'eugénisme,... et nous fait réfléchir. Plus encore, il livre un message magnifique, il faut croire en nos rêves et les vivre jusqu'au bout... et toujours croire que c'est possible.

Ethan HAWKE est génial, il est mon acteur préféré depuis 10 ans, mais ce n'est pas pour ça que je vous conseille de voir ce film. Je vous le conseille car bien qu'il soit futuriste il pourrait bien devenir réaliste car la génétique est très présente dans notre monde..

Une film que j'ai écouté dans un cours de français, p-e un des seuls cours de français que j'étais intéressé... Vraiment très bon film. Un questionnement sur la génétique, le controle de la race humaine, les nouvelles technologies... à voir!
