Pas le meilleur mais pas le pire non plus... selon moi vaut plus que la cochonnerie américaine sortie en 1998 qui dénaturait tout de Godzilla! Si vous n'êtes qu'impressionné par les effets spéciaux réalistes et n'avez aucune imagination, passez votre tour. Les vieux fans seront par contre plus intéressé, quelques bons coups, et bonnes scènes d'action.

Les japonais ont tout perfectionné, sauf le cinéma. Et c'est tant mieux pour nous! Quant le "kitch" est art et l'art est "kitch". Une post-synchronisation ratée, des acteurs et répliques minables, des effets spéciaux qui font revivre l'art de la maquette, une histoire des plus faibles. De plus, en guise de récompense additionnelle, on a droit à un Godzilla dans toute sa splendeur avec des prises de vue capables d'attendir même les coeurs les plus durs. Et puis, après tout, il a une fois de plus sauvé la planète alors soyons un peu reconnaissant et conciliant. Bravo! J'en veux encore.

Mais a quoi vous vous attendiez!!!!!! Vous allez voir Godzilla!!! Tout le monde sait que Godzilla c'est un costume de rubber avec des semelles de running shoue au pied! Qu'il crache du feux, que ses écailles brillent avant une attaque... qu'il se batera contre un ou des monstres encore plus laid ( il s'est même déjà batue contre king kong... version japonaise: il gagnait, version américaine: king kong gagnait ) Vous parlez de réalisme, de petit budjet, de doublage exécrable... BIENVENUE DANS LE MONDE CINÉMATOGRAPHIQUE JAPONAIS DE SÉRIE B! C'est justement ce coté cheap, bébelle, pas d'histoire que l'on recherche et qui fait un bon film de monstre. Comme si vous écoutier "Friday The 13" ou " Nightmare On Elm Street" pour leurs coté philosophique!

Godzilla 2000 est un peu l'image typique que nous avons des films japonais de sciences-fictions: les effets spéciaux minable, les villes en cartons, les acteurs dans des déguisements de montres, l'histoire idiote, etc... Mais pourquoi aller voir Godzilla 2000 alors? Et bien seulement pour le thrill de voir un vrai Godzilla, pas une version américaine à l'ordinateur, ni un dessin animé minable du samedi matin à Fox. Pour mon compte, malgrès tous ces défauts, Godzilla 2000 a été un bon divertissement, j'ai bien ris des répliques stupides des personnages et de l'histoire simplette et puis j'ai bien aimé les bonnes vieilles batailles que Godzilla nous offre. Bien sûr, il faut aimé le style, et pour mon compte je l'aime. Par contre, j'ai préféré, et de loin, Godzilla vs. King Ghidora que j'ai eu la chance de voir au festival Fantasia. C'est probablement pour ça que j'offre seulement un 7/10 à ce film. Donc, en résumé, c'est un film à voir avec des amis ou sa blonde (si elle le veut bien)en après-midi, la semaine, afin de rire un peu de ce bon vieux dinosaures radioactif qui nous divertie depuis près de 50 ans!

Un vrai bon film de monstre "Made in Japan" Avec ses bons et mauvais côté. Vous aurez aussi la suprise de découvrir que l'armée pacifique du Japon est équipée des dernières nouveautés, soit le tank Léopard 2 et le F-15 en version attaque au sol.

Ce film ne fait appelle qu'a la nostalgie. Les effets speciaux primitifs nous sautent aux yeux et enlevent au realisme. Histoire très faible. C'etait la chance de faire reluire le nom de Godzilla une nouvelle fois au yeux du monde et ceux au commandes ont manque leur coup serieusement. Si au moins c'etait un Godzilla comme celui des américains en 1998, mais dans ce film-ci, detruisant la ville, nageant dans l'ocean et crachant du feu radioactif et tout et tout... (imaginez la bataille finale)... Je crois que ça aurais été meilleur, juste parce que celui des américains semblait plus realiste, quoi que plus iguane que monstre de nature. C'était bien parce que ça nous ramenait en enfance. C'etait poche parce que celui de notre enfance n'etait pas si bon. Gardez votre argent pour un autre film.

Ce film est d'une nullité totale et ABSOLUE! Une insulte pour les spectateurs, en particulier pour les yeux! Ce metrage sert seulement à démontrer qu'un enfant de 8 ans peut réussir à faire un film de Godzilla en utilisant son dinosaure-joujou préféré et en lui attachant des ficelles aux membres ou simplement en s'achetant un joli costume de "rubber" au Wal-Mart le plus proche et en se pavanant avec dans une maquette japonaise. Ce film... n'est pas un film... C'est une misérable blague! J'ai du mal à croire que de pauvres personnes se soient impliquées dans ce "projet"( tout aussi stupide soit-il) et aient accorder quel'on puisse afficher leur nom au générique. Faut vraiment manquer d'argent ou être sous l'effet d'une drogue quelconque pour vouloir participer à ÇA, cette CHOSE!! Si vous voulez perdre 1- votre temps. 2- votre argent. 3- votre respect pour le cinéma. 4- votre calme (croyez-moi celui là c'est le plus dur a garder). ET BIEN ÉVITER CETTE ARNAQUE!

J'ai pas vu des films japonais avant mais celui là est pas pire. Il s'agit d'un film japonais traduit en anglais. On peut facilement distinguer que s'est traduit. Le début était super bon. Après l'apparition du 2ème monstre, l'histoire est rendue un peu bizarre. Les 2 monstres se battaient entre eux et l'état japonais est rendu dehors la bataille. Le cri de godzilla est trop désagréable. Les effets secondaires sont bons. Il faut voir ce film sur un écran géant. La fin est coupée et bizarre. Si vous aimez voir des dinosores sur des grands écrans allez le voir.

Probablement le meilleur des Godzillas jusqu'ici quoique la compétition ne soit quand même pas très forte! Les nostalgiques aimerons et rirons des dialogues plus ou moins bizarres et des pensées (en particulier la dernière) très tirées par les cheveux. Les autres devraient peut-être s'abstenir. Au moins, on reconnait le "vrai" Godzilla, pas une immitation à l'Américaine. Somme toute un bon divertissement.

NUL est le seul adjectif pouvant convenir à ce film sans saver. À éviter. Allez plutôt vir les Remplacants ou tout autre film à l'affiche ( sauf les pokémons bien sûr... )

Beaucoup meilleur que la version USA! Pas d'éffets spéciaux réalisé à l'ordinateur ce qui surprenant. D'un réaliste mordant!!!
