[...] Rainey (Johnny Depp) un écrivain célèbre tente désespérément d'écrire un nouveau succès, mais depuis son divorce disons qu'il est plutôt pathétique: retiré dans un chalet avec son chien, il dort, dort et dort jours après jours, se levant que pour aller se recoucher ailleurs. Un jour, un inconnu se présente à sa porte et l'accuse d'avoir plagié son histoire et devient de plus en plus fous jusqu'à pousser Rainey au bout de lui-même. Après s'être attaché à se personnage assez bizzard, la fin est des plus étonnante. Bref, Stephen King a encore réussit à nous surprendre avec son histoire, mais il faut avouer que Johnny Depp l'a vraiment très bien joué. (Après avoir incarné Jack Sparrow dans Pirates des Caraïbes, il était l'acteur parfait pour joué ce rôle. ) Il faut vraiment voir le film, pour le constater. Certain dirons qu'il est hideux, d'autre le trouverons formidable!
