Très bon jeu des acteurs, musique bien choisie, et de plus un film tiré d'une histoire vraie et il ne faut pas l'oublier on ne regarde pas un film de Spielberg mais du histoire vecue!!! Merci a Veronica Guerin pour nous, nos enfants etc il en faudrait beaucoup d'autres, des personnes de cette trempe pour dénoncer toute cette injustice, ces magouilles, ces non-dits.

Bon film... Certainement un peu cliché et qui montre les gentils vraiment gentils et les méchants vraiment très méchants. Bouhlala, la drogue pas bien! La lutte inégale du bien contre le mal, tout ça... ! Bref, j'ai regardé le DVD sans apriori particulier et ai bien aimé le jeu de Cate Blanchett, actrice que j'aime beaucoup, mais plus particulièrement la bande originale du film qui cadrait parfaitement avec les images et le film en général. Chouette musique!

La musique est très bien étudiée, les acteurs sont très bien choisis, et ils ont si bien incarnés les roles. Bravo veronica guerin est une femme forte, qui mérite qu'on se rappelle d'elle, et qu'on la rappelle à non enfants et à nos petits enfants. C'est un film qui dénonce la cruelle réalité où le bien triomphe rarement devant le mal.

Franchement c'est un beau film à ne pas manquer qui est émouvant avec la musique ca fait pleurer eu moment ou les deux hommes s'approche de la voiture et casse le carreau et la tue a au moins 6 ou 7 balles!! Et tous les gens sortent et regardent ca m'a fait vrmt pleurer ou alors quand elle se fait frapper par le dogué la su'il lui degage de ma propriete et aussi quand ils annoncent ca a sa famille a j'étais vrmt en pleur!! Sinon elle avait du courage cette femme! Veronica Guerin restera toujours gravé a Dublin!

Certains semblent croire que des que c'est un cas vécu c'est bon. En bref une femme écervellée risque sa vie et la vie de sa famille dans le but avancer sa carrière. Car sincerement, je n'ai pas cru à son jeu une seule minute. Comme si elle avait règlé le problème de la drogue des jeunes pour toujours. Du gros blah blah inutile avec une conclusion platte à mourir. Émotion quétaine et jeu des acteurs douteux, réalisation sans vie et inégale. Platte platte platte. Je vous suggère Requiem for a Dream si vous voulez un film contre la drogue. Beaucoup plus d'impact avec des acteurs qui savent jouer et une réalisation de maitre.

Encore une fois, quelqu'un a dû payer de sa vie, l'inaction des autorités face aux trafiquants de drogue. Ne vous faites pas d'illusions, le genre de trafiquants de drogues que vous voyez dans ce film, se trouvent également dans votre propre quartier...

Impressionne par la performance de Kate Blanchett et vendu d'avance par l'attachante ville de Dublin, je suis sans doute un peu subjectif dans ma critique. J'avoue que le film est un peu cliche et destine a un large auditoire, mais si ça peut permettre aux gens de les sensibiliser a des realites qui nous sont souvent inconnu. On apprecie encore plus, je crois, lorsqu'on est au fait de la culture irlandaise, des problemes avec le IRA qui prennent une place enormes par rapport aux autres enjeux comme celui des cartels de la drogue et de la pauvrete a Dublin. La culture irlandaise est bien represente avec un succes de U2 presque uniquement irlandais (Everlasting Love), et une version touchante de The Fields of Athenry. Le clin d'oeil de Colin Farrel dans son rôle du "bad Dub" (ce qu'il est vraiment) fait aussi sourire. Ça nous rappelle ça performance dans InterMission: dommage qu'on ne le voit pas plus dans le film. Sinon Cate, esperons te revoir aux Oscars avec un prix cette fois. Vu le peu de succes du film, j'en serais surpris. Dommage, mais à voir tout de même!

En premier lieu, je veux dire un truc : Normal que ça ait l'air d'un fait vécu; ç'en est un! Veronica Guerin est une grande dame et c'est bien que ce qu'elle a apporté à l'Irlande soit porté sur grand écran. La trame sonore est excellente, rythme irlandais. Cate Blanchett est INCROYABLE comme à son habitude!

J'ai été bouleversé par l'histoire de cette femme journaliste en Irlande qui a payé de sa vie le fait d'avoir dénoncé des trafiquants de drogue. Ce film n'est pas a la portée de tous, car il demande une réflexion. Pour les amateurs de faits vécus et de biographie.

Bofff, je peux comparer ce film aux films Faits vécus qui passent à la tv. Donc, ça peut être divertissant, mais c'est bien de pouvoir faire d'autre chose en même temps, comme faire du ménage ou laver la vaisselle! JE dois avouer que j'avais hâte que le film se termine. L'histoire est très cliché et sans rebondissements. Je dois par contre dire que l'actrice principale, Cate Blanchett, est crédible et attachante. Je ne suis même pas sure que je vous conseiller de le louer en vidéo...
