So very predictable. I usually like Bruce Willis but even he couldn't save this movie. It looked like it had a cool concept but it fell flat, it could have been such a better movie.

Disappointing. Had an interesting idea but it seemed padded, dragged at times and had a predictable ending. Probably would have made a good one hour Outer Limits episode.

This is a great film with good special effects and acting as well as a complex and captivating plot. Bruce Willis plays with passion and brings out the philisophical side of the story. WARNING: this is NOT a good movie to go see with small children for you will be constantly bombarded by questions and will miss important parts of the film because of it. This is a masterpiece and it deserves your full attention for it's duration. If you do so, you shall be whisped away to a future full of intense action and drama which I guarntee you will love.

Very good movie, one of the best in the recent years. Most people now are "spider man and super man" fans, so it's hard for them understand Surrogates. If you are sharp and smart person go and see it! Worth every peny.

Really predictable, watch the trailer which is more exciting. The plot is plain and the pacing is clumsy, you NEVER get to feel the action. Bruce Willis hasn't done lots of good movies and this is not an exception. Acting is dull overall.

Bruce please do a real film...

This was a great movie. It shows a realistic world, and is very thrilling all throughout. It shows you the adventure's and risks people can go through by being attached to a "surrogate". Go see it now, you won't waste your money. If you're looking for adventure, stop wasting time look at this review!

Boringly predictable and simply out of the "Hollywood has no clue how to make a good movie anymore" box. This movie has been made in one way or another many times over. Surrogates, clones, AI. At the very least they could have added some credibility to this attempt. I found myself being bored most of the time. I guess Bruce really likes his paycheck and that's it. But who can blame him, Eddie Murphy and many others do the same. Regardless, the movie is not worth watching. There's bound to be something better out there.

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.]
Good basic premise about a possible use of human clones, but it took too long to get to the final réalisation of what was happening. Then the writer obviously could not decide how to finish the story and let the movie-goer participate in the solution. One of main characters returns to earth and we are left guessing as to what will happen when arrives. Pity! It would have been nice to take the voyage with him and see the feathers fly (figuratively speaking)!

The idea is great but there's missing something to the movie to make it better. The end could have been something some scientific or complicated than just shut the system down.

I was told this movie sucked. But I was interested by its plotline, so I went to see it and wasn't too dissapointed. Yeah, ok, the end was too easy. This huge problem is solved by the push of a button but that didn't take away my enjoyment from the rest of this film. The theme of this film is very interesting and says all kinds of things about our society.

The movie is "worth if you don't pay" - that says everything. The main story idea of the surrogates is a great one, with the potential of another 'Total Recall, but the scriptwriters + director fell much short of it. The story goes in a very predictable way, without any character development whatsoever. Emotions are uneven, characters actions either go unexplained or are just too stereotypical. Just a bad money grabber. Too bad.

I've looked forward to this movie since the first trailer came out and was happy to see it tonight. I quite enjoyed the plot and loved the twists. It didn't have a lot of meat in it (depth) and wished they had put a little more into the story line but all 'n all it was a great concept. One that makes you think that perhaps we are not that far off from this "reality" they've made for themselves?

Could have been and probably should have been a television series. I would have liked to have seen more character development, minus a couple who were stereotypical and one-dimensional. Bruce was great as always though and I did find the storyline intriguing.

Went to see the movie with low expectations. Turned out the movie was much better than what the reviews indicated. Not too predictable, a few interesting twists. Bruce Willis is excellent in his part. The movie could have been better but still it's very entertaining. It deserves a better mark than what it has right now.

It is shocking that anyone could put this script to a movie. This is the stupidest plot I have ever seen. The worst movie I have seen in a long, long, time.

Good for science fiction fans. The idea is interesting, a new concept, but the movie is not engaging enough, boring at times. I wouldn't recommend it to everyone.

I thought this movie was very thought provoking. Wasn't sure what to expect but was quickly drawn into the story. Thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend it for sure. It's science fiction that really doesn't seem so implausible I guess...

A little disappointed by this movie - the plot was too simple for something so complex and the delivery felt wrong. Hardly any of the awesome action scenes we're used to by Bruce Willis.

It wasn't a great movie, but worth the money for sure. Interesting story line. Bruce Willis is the same as always, but this is why we like him, right? A much better movie than that overrated District 9 crap... for me... crazy district fans please don't post angry replies... :)

Good special effects, original story, and Bruce Willis is always pretty reliable... dynamite first half but the pacing drags in the second... good twist at the end but not enough action through the whole thing. Overall worth the price of admission.

Overall, what you would expect from the previews. It's refreshing to see a movie with Bruce Willis that has minimal amount of violence and virtually no swearing. The movie focuses on the development of the plot rather than excessive special effects or big chase/fight scenes. Although somewhat predictable, it’s a shorter movie (1:28) so you don’t end up thinking to far ahead too fast.

It wasn't great, but I enjoyed it. An extrapolation of where we are now with so many people connecting virtually instead of for real. Check out 'Puppetji vs MySpace vs YouTube' on youtube for a humorous look at this theme.
