Have you ever wandered around on You Tube, and ended up watching a scene from Tough Guys Don't Dance, with Ryan O'Neil being overly melodramatic? If not I suggest you do check it out, that might give you a hint of what my reaction was when Saw IV was over, and it should make you chuckle as well. This time around a supporting character from the previous films is actually getting his big break as the lead. He needs to accomplish a few 'missions' in order to save two cop friends. In the meanwhile, the FBI is investigating and we learn about Jigsaw's background, and what led him to become what he is. I have a problem with the opening scene. There is an autopsy being performed on John Kramer aka Jigsaw's dead body. His throat was slit. Do they really need that autopsy to know what killed him? Well, I guess so, or else they wouldnt have found the tape in his stomach. I believe enough is enough. The first film actually looks like a masterpiece after this third and unneeded sequel. The plot is more ridiculous than ever. The film is badly manipulative. The gore goes too far it's not even kind of entertaining anymore. The ending is laughable. The entire thing is just pointless and at that rhythm, I'm pretty sure we'll get to see a superhero in one of the upcoming sequels, so someone can be clever enough to catch that not so clever super villain that is Jigsaw, who happens to be dead, therefor no one should be scared enough of him to follow his legacy. So boring I almost didnt make it through.
