[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] Have you ever wandered around on You Tube, and ended up watching a scene from Tough Guys Don't Dance, with Ryan O'Neil being overly melodramatic? If not I suggest you do check it out, that might give you a hint of what my reaction was when Saw IV was over, and it should make you chuckle as well. This time around a supporting character from the previous films is actually getting his big break as the lead. He needs to accomplish a few 'missions' in order to save two cop friends. In the meanwhile, the FBI is investigating and we learn about Jigsaw's background, and what led him to become what he is. I have a problem with the opening scene. There is an autopsy being performed on John Kramer aka Jigsaw's dead body. His throat was slit. Do they really need that autopsy to know what killed him? Well, I guess so, or else they wouldnt have found the tape in his stomach. I believe enough is enough. The first film actually looks like a masterpiece after this third and unneeded sequel. The plot is more ridiculous than ever. The film is badly manipulative. The gore goes too far it's not even kind of entertaining anymore. The ending is laughable. The entire thing is just pointless and at that rhythm, I'm pretty sure we'll get to see a superhero in one of the upcoming sequels, so someone can be clever enough to catch that not so clever super villain that is Jigsaw, who happens to be dead, therefor no one should be scared enough of him to follow his legacy. So boring I almost didnt make it through.

I'm not a fan of horro movies. I just found that after every ending of the movie, there is an interesting moral. As for this one, learn to let it go. :) worth to watch.

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] It was so good but the one problem is that pretty much all the saw's end the same way in the first the guy Adam is locked up, in the second one D. Eric Matthews is locked up in the bathroom. The third one the guy Jeff is locked in the room with jigsaw's corpse and in this one Rigg is locked in the room.

Unlike #3, this was not a gore fest. I liked it a lot. Though, I must admit I'm not too sure I understood the ending perfectly. Maybe I missed something, or more likely we will understand what we saw in #4 when #5 comes out...

My least favorite of the SAW series. Not nearly enough blood and guts... not nearly enough action and not enough explanation of how the killer got to take over the role!!! An ok movie to watch at home and a boring night!

DVD: "Saw 4: Uncut"
So lame and over rated... don't waste your time... or money.

It gives Saw 3 more meaning and is much better then Saw 2 and 3 combined. I would not say it's better then the first. If they can keep the unexpected twists coming then they will have a lot of success with the next one I know I cannot wait to see it.

Very well put together, and a must see, but only if you've seen the previous 3, as it builds heavily on events from past installments. The ending is a good one... not to be missed!

With Saw 4, you can start seeing how all future Saw movies will be- it's starting to get kinda old with all these "new" assistants to a dead Jigsaw. Hope they find new ways to pull the twists. It was fun to see Donnie Wahlberg reprise his NKOTB days by hangin' tough while doing the running man ;-p.

Don't believe it when others say it's the greatest horror movie b/c it isn't! The Saw franchise is finished. The first one was great but all the rest were terrible and this one is the best at being the worst of the 3 that came after the first one. Make sense yet? Saw 5 will be even worse so don't waste your money on number 4 b/c it ain't worth it.

K well first I have to say saw is awesome. Saw I is one of the best horror movies I've ever seen. So I went to see number 2. I was disappointed. When I saw 3 I told myself I wouldn't even go to see number 4. But of course I did to see if they could make up for the crappyness of number 2 & 3. But they didnt. Saw 4 was confusing and pointless. Even though I get the storyline it's stil confusing. Lots of questions left unaswered. Belive me u wold be wise to wait for the DVD.

I think that this is the second best Saw movie (the best one being the first of course) The gore scenes are awesome and the movie keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole time. Great horror movie, hope the fifth will be as good.

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] I loved this Saw because it continued to explain the on-going story of Jigsaw, and his accomplices and I know the following Saws will do the same. Many people look at the movies as they are, a single film - but you should be looking at the whole of the series. The story is continuing to be filled out for us. Yes, as it stands there are loose ends (Not as many as number 3 held) and you KNOW the girl will be found, or explained. The writers are intelligent, not the opposite. The current accomplice will be explained too, I've got complete faith in it. For those complaining about the "first and last scene - not making sense." It really does, just open your eyes and pay attention. Perhaps re-think it, go see it again or wait for it's release on DVD. It does make sense. The gore was perfect, as much as is needed for a successful Saw movie. I can't wait for the 5th, this series is WELL worth the money you spend going to the theatres and/or buying the DVD. 10/10 for the storyline which is the most brilliant i've seen in a horror/thriller in a long time.

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] For those of you that don't understand, this movie was actually tremendous. You see Jigsaw on the table in the beginning as FORESHADOWING, and you don't get to find out what happens to the little girl, as this movie essentially runs right alongside Saw 3... hence, it was well written, with great plot twists, still tying up ends all over the place. For those that can actually follow a storyline, you'll thoroughly enjoy this movie.

I am a fan of the saw movies. This one gives you more background information about why Jigsaw is the way he is. It was ok overall. Not bad but not the best one either.

My wife and I fell in love with the first three movies and for the past three years have looked forward to the next Saw movie. The first one was a masterpiece that left my mouth wide open at the end and dying to see the sequal. Saw 2 and 3 were tremendously entertaining as well. But this forth movie had me leaving the theatre very disappointed. I really can't imagine what they could do next.

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] I just have to say that this movie was awful. If I had to try to read one more blurred note I was going to hang myself. People actually got up and left in the theatre. Also, how the hell did Jigsaw's body end up in the final scene when the opening scene clearly shows it on the autopsy table. A very very piss-poor effort to an otherwise legendary horror series. The fifth one better explain what happend to the little girl and better not SUCK as badly as this one did.

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] The beginning of the movie was great. The autopsy was very realistic and good to watch. They did not end up showing what happened to the little girl in that room from saw 3... did they forget that part? Because being a big saw fan, I know I didn't & wouldn't. It was not good at all to be honest, it didn't suit a purpose. Hopefully Saw 5 will be better!! :)

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] Well I first of all have to say wow, it was a great movie I thought throughout. The beginning was so well done I almost puked, lets just say don't buy popcorn. The only thing I didn't like was what happened to the daughter in saw 3 and how did the secret accomplice get into the whole thing, like did he continue the work and do a bad job or what, if anybody wants to tell me how that worked please let me know, but all in all I cant wait for the fifth and it is a must see if your a saw fan.

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] I thought it was great, but they still haven't talked over some things that got left over from Saw 3. What happened to the little girl? Overall though, if you're a fan or new to the series, it's a good movie either way.
