Wanted [2008] Movie Reviews on CinemaClock

Call me crazy, call me nuts, but this movie rocked big time! I did not expect this at all. The trailer does not do this movie justice. Then again, it's better not to have too many reveals in the trailer. That's why I prefer a good teaser to a good trailer any day! I'm giving Wanted a solid 9/10. This movie is sharp, edgy, well paced, with one of the best opening 40 minutes I have ever seen. It was directed with style and originality. It was very well written and paced to near perfection. On the acting side, James McAvoy shines as the hero, and I will leave it at that as not to provide any spoilers! As for Angelina Jolie, I really don't care for her. She's always pretty much the same, and that continues to be true in this movie... BUT this movie isn't about her, her pouty lips or her big-eyed stares. So even with her, I can still give this movie a 9/10... so that says a lot about it! So, go see this movie if you want to see an original romp of a movie. You may not agree with me, that's the beauty of opinions. But the trailer to this movie never interested me, but I went anyway (as there truly was nothing else to see), and I was overwhelmed from the opening scene! Kudos, 9/10 without hesitation!
