All the hype, all the talk, all the wait, all the anticipation, and still this movie succeeded in blowing me away! WOW! Double WOW!! Christopher Nolan has managed to surpass the great Batman Begins by piecing together a masterpiece. This movie scores a solid 10/10 on my scale, without hesitation. The directing was superb, the script was very tight and solid, and the acting was top notch (Ledger's Joker is simply amazing and chilling, and actually makes Nicholson's turn look quite cartoony) Bale delivers yet another solid performance as the caped crusader. Caine, Freeman and Oldman are simply excellent in their supporting roles. Gyllenhaal brings us a different Rachel, much more loose and free-flowing than Katie Holmes did in Batman Begins. Eckhart is also solid as Harvey Dent. The music, the camera movements, the editing, the pacing... this movie is stellar on all accounts. Mucho kudos to Christopher Nolan for actually living up to the hype and giving us one of the most entertaining movies in a very long time. I could see it several times in theaters, that's how good it was. 10/10, a masterpiece, go see it now, you will not regret it!
