I didn't see the first movie, but that didn't stop me from enjoying the second (with a bit of explanation from my husband who had seen the first) Like that these people are treasure hunters and have these beautiful material things because of the treasure they found in the first movie. That's all you need to know. It is the genre of Indiana Jones and Romancing the Stone. Definitely a big screen experience. The different locations for filming are wonderful. The supporting roles by Helen Mirren and John Voigt also very good. A good entertaining night out.
