Will Smith does it again. What a great show. Starts off with fast paced and visually stunning action and then delves into the character's persona and soon after a part of his history to explain why he seems to have a grudge against society. The evolution of the character from an individual hated by his city's population to one that is loved and idolised is gradual and entertaining. Some truly funny scenes, particularly the part where some motorists are crowding around Hancock and giving him grief. An original take on the whole superhero thing and yet acknowledges great movies that have inspired it such as X-men and Superman. Certainly one to add to your DVD collection.
