What can I say, I'm a sucker for action comedies that actually do contain both action and comedy!!! I had high expectations for this one, and it did not disappoint. SPOILER ALERT - Kudos to all the actors as they all delivered great comedic performances. But by far the most memorable performances were by Robert Downey Jr whose eyes and facial expressions were even funnier than his lines, and Tom Cruise for his incredibly vulgar cameo that really shows us beneath all the Cruise hooplah, there is a true actor! This movie is funny, it's gory, and some of the humour is really out there, so really not for every one. But it works. It's funny! It's surprising! And it's definitely entertaining!!! Ben Stiller co-wrote, co-produced, and directed this movie, and he deserves a lot of congrats for piecing together a very effective action-comedy, something a lot of people have tried and failed at. In my books, this was an excellent movie, a must see, if you like farces and spoofs, and don't mind some of the gore and profanity! 9/10, solid, I'd see it again in theaters, just to see some of those scenes again on the big screen!!!
