User's review

Not as good as the book, but I didn't expect it to be. The acting was a bit forced and some scenes were rushed and awkward while others were drawn out and confusing. I do not recommend seeing the movie unless you've fallen in love with the book, and even then don't get your hopes up too high. I absolutely loved a few things, though, particularly Jacob and the scene in the Cullen's house. Robert was ok as Edward but a bit too forced and not dreamlike enough... Kirsten as Bella was also a good match appearance-wise, but she was a little too angsty and moody and either underacted or overacted the whole time. The two together had absolutely no onscreen chemistry which really killed a few of the moments. (Bella and Jacob, however, did have great chemistry... oops.) Overall, I would look forward to the 2nd movie but next time they need to make it a bit less forced and a bit more natural.
