User's review

I give this film a mixed review because while it was well filmed and creative, it was difficult to follow. There were a lot of murky characters. With next-to-no background info on them the plot became convoluted. I did admire the interweaving of archival footage and the grainy quality, which lent to the shadowy atmosphere. Rémy Girard was very good, as was the newcomer Janet Lane playing a vulnerable pawn in the big boys' spy game. It helps to be familiar with the era's key players and go to the film's website before seeing the film though.
