What a complete waste of my time. Absolutely pointless, albeit, it did attempt to show Brad Pitt in a comedic role (he really ought to stick to the action and dramas) Waste of talent too with George Clooney. Great actor, bad choice for script.

Brad Pitt was hilarious!! Makes the weird movie tolerable. Never realized he was so funny... awesome... other than that... just weird.

The best part of the movie is when Brad Pitt gets shot in the head. Other than that... utter non-sense.

DVD: "Burn After Reading"
I loved this movie and it's little twists. Brad Pitt is absolutely hilarious. His performance alone makes this movie worth seeing.

This movie should be renamed," Burn Before Watching" What a waste of time even as a rental. I expected so much more considering that past works from all of the talents involved with this movie.

Couldn't understand the point of the movie from the first minute until the last second. Absolutely a waste of an hour and half. Plus the title didnt make sense. Plot was not clear, and events just popped out randomly "out of the closet". If you are looking for comedy, you are better off with watching Miley Cyrus in Hannah Montana!

I had no expectations, except I like the actors playing in it. I really liked it, funny and entertaining, the acting was great too. Different and original.

This movie kept me entertained, even when I was sooo tired! I thought the cast was hilarious and even though the plot was a bit far-fetched, the movie was still pretty good. I liked the few twists that left me surprised.

Malkovich is great and carries the whole cast. I enjoyed Pitt's character which was just as I expected; Goofy! Clooney brings a nice twist and dimension to the storyline. McDormand is a breath a fresh air and pushes the envelope with her futile ways. Funny and entertaining!

This movie sucked. Only good scene was the closet scene. I wanted to burn my eyeballs after watching this. Dumb.

I dont get why everyone is giving this movie bad reviews. I found it to be pretty funny and sure, the story is kinda random but at the end your just thinking about how random it is and you end up laughing over it. The acting wasn't as bad as everyone says it is. It ends kinda abruptly, but so does no country for old men. You have the same type of feeling at the end of the movie but this one was more enjoyable as it was funny. Story is definitely weird and stupid in a good way.

Okay, this was terrible. Please save yourselves. [...] The movie ends long before the credits. Nothing can be too harsh. Honestly, watch paint dry.

Lol, some folks are criticizing this movie for being a spoof... If you like the American film noir, you will thoroughly enjoy this movie. This is not for fans of manichean movies.

Assuming you go in understanding it's a Cohen movie, there shouldn't be any surprises. It's very well done within that genre, and the non-traditional performances from the likes of Brad Pitt are a hoot! Recommended.

Hilarious at times. Especially Pitt and Clooney. Refreshing to see a comedic style unique from the Adam Sandler, Mike Myers, and Superbad genres.

My iq dropped while watching this movie, but then I laughed a little, and being dumb for an hour or so wasn't so bad. Funny movie, weird plot. Worth a viewing but maybe not in theatres.

The Coen brothers in top form, at their classiest, wittiest, knowingly absurdest, darkest best. The humour doesn't stride out and hit you on the head, but sneaks up on you, building gradually through a cumulative process of detailed set-up, coming to a head in scenes of eruptive hilarity achieved through laugh-out-loud punchlines delivered with deadpan brilliance.

I just don't understand how people have rated this movie so poorly... the acting is just excellent! An excellent cast! I love how Brad Pitt just makes a fool out of himself being the actor he is... malcovich... excellent like always, so intense it just makes your eyes pop out,... Frances McDormand... she is definitely going to get some sort of award for her acting. The movie it self is just so wrong in all aspects (obviously intended to be that way, just like life is, just like humans are but never reveal) that the result turns out to be almost perfect. It's a shame how people insist on watching the typical same old romantic comedy thing over and over again.

The movie was funny and the plot was very interesting. I had a good time. I think everybody did a great job. Although it might not be as good as No Country for Old Men, but still it was a solid effort by the brothers.

We went to this movie with low expectations. It turned out to be hilarious, probably the best comedy we've seen in a really long time!! It's not one of those typical american teenage/college comedies, it's soo much better :)

I wonder if I saw the same movie that some reviewers are describing. This movie is so smart and so funny. I even cried from laughters. So much absurdity and authenticity in all the different layers of characterization. The entire cast is amazing (Malkovich at one of his best!)

Gaaah... what the hell happened in the movie... suddenly everyone goes whacko and start killing each other...) ).. it was one of the most pointless movies i've seen. Let me revise that, it is the most pointless movie i've seen. The only thing I love about this movie is the humor!! Brad Pitt was hilarious. My fave part was where he said," bu... but... you can open my lock with a big pen!" hahahhaaha xd!!! I would recommend it just for the humor, but I guarantee you unsatisfactory ending. :)

This movie isn't for everyone. It's not an Ashton Kutcher/Owne Wilson sort of Americana comedy. What it is, is quicky and oddball with great actors having the chance to be ridiculous characters. The Coen brothers make a specific genre, so if you didn't like Oh Brother, or Miller's Crossing or Fargo, this probably isn't for you. There isn't a tight plot, and the entire point of this movie is the jokes about idiots trying to be spies and the habadashary of the CIA and it's cronies. I expected more, but liked it nonetheless.

How does a movie with no story line, no plot get rave reviews? Don't get me wrong I thought Brad Pitt was great, but it was parallel to a Jerry Springer show. It's a movie filled with stupidity, infidelity and no substance.
