This movie is well directed, well written and the scenery is incredible. In certain scenes when you do not require words to tell what the characters are feeling and thinking, you know it is a great movie. Their facial expressions are the words. This movie has that rare quality. The acting was outstanding. Some people may not like a tragic love story taken in India in the 1940's during British rule. But those of you who like a good drama that has a steady pace then it is a must see. I'm not sure why this movie is not on a wider release.
