I'm not quite sure what genre this film fits... maybe action hero is correct but it seems almost comic in the context of a sad old man finding himself and taking on the local hoodlums mano-a-mano. Can Clint reprise his "Make my day" Harry Callahan role in the persona of a sick old man bent on avenging the beating and rape of the very sweet girl next door? Does a 78 year old man beating the crap out of a young tough gangster get your mojo going? Does the prolific and gratuitous use of racial epithets and ethnic sterotypes do it for you? If "yes" by all means go and enjoy. For the rest of us there is thankfully some comic relief and the song during the closing credits is nice.
