I can't even fathom what any one in hollywood was thinking with this one... PORN is NOT for the public thetres, I don't care what the rating is. I was prepared for 'sex' scenes, but this just plummeted the ratings into an abyss of why even bother having ratings in the first place. NO story line, NO character development, NO climax and NO ONE CARED by the end every one was scrambling just to get out of the theatre- TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY!! Ashton Kutcher must be DESPERATE to become a porn star... thats all I have to say.

This movie is pornography with a deceptive movie trailer!!! The promotion of movie was enlightening but when you see the film it's another story. No storyline, no interest and no climax!

Saw this movie last Friday and realy like it. Everything was good actors, story, drama, acting. Recommend to watch it.

Starts with porn, plugs along through the 90 minutes with porn, guess how stupid this movie is? I'm guessing it was made to somehow "shock" someone out there in LaLaWood but most likely it's some kind of trash they've all seen before to begin with. Kutcher's had intermittent success in some things but this one is a total DUD! I won't be falling for it again if he's in anything AGAIN! It's finito in what, maybe 7 days or less? Boring, poor storyline, fidgety scenes with little substance. Excessive porn doesn't work anymore so don't try the stunt ever again!

Up untill towards the middle of this insignificant and very forgettable movie, the same thought kept crossing my mind: 'This is a porno movie with well known, non-porno actors'. Apart from sex, the movie wasn't going anywhere except maybe towards the end! ; Another thought kept banging hard on the wall of my brains: 'why do they even bother invest on movies like this one'! Yes, Ashton Kutcher has rightfully earned his title as a sex idol and a heartthrob but in my book, it takes a lot more than that to cut it as an actor these days! ; Granted, not all his work in movies has been bad! ; In fact I think that he's quite capable to be a convincing actor provided that he gets the right rolls, but not in 'Spread' I'm afraid! The dialogue in this movie is even poorer than that of some of the porno movies themselves (The ones that have a story of course) Basically this movie is about a gigolo (played by Ashton Kutcher) who meets a sexy good looking rich executive (played by Ann Heich) who happens to own a luxurious house with a view to kill for in the Hollywood Hills. Although she knows that he's both jobless and homeless, she falls for him and even offers him room and shelter, her credit card and of course gorgeous clothes-All in exchange for hot hot sex, of course! ; Even when she catches him having sex with another woman in her house she forgives him! The lazy swinging gigolo batcheler goes on with his scam untill he meets a pretty waitress (Played by Maria Conchita Alonzo, who became Miss Teenage of the world in 1971 and went on to become 6th runner up to Miss World in 1975) who's a good match for him, to say the least! ; Just for the record though, Ann Heich is sexier than ever in this role! Conclusion: Poor text, poor movie, poor acting=Save your money and only spend part of it on renting this movie when the DVD comes up! ; I sure hope that director David Mackenzie come up with a much better movie next time! ; Need I say more?.. See you at the movies!
