User's review

This movie sort of redeems itself in the last 10 minutes. Throughout, the protagonists teeter between doing the right and the wrong "thing". In the end, they do right and everything works out. The cynic in me says that's not realistic, but it appeals to the idealist in me. Unfortunately, prior to that, the film is just not that engaging - the acting isn't great (except Toni Collette & William Hurt) and the characters seem to make illogical choices. Mmmm, see it, watch for the last 10 minutes and think about the theme. Watch for Toni Collette. This lady can really act - she deserves a strong leading role in a film.
