This movie stood the pest of time fairly poorly. I saw it again recently and it had more than a wiff of french cheese and cheap motels to it, even though it was made in 1988. Harrison Ford did his absolute bestest as usual to play a longsuffering middle aged man being imposed upon by amoral criminals. He has played that part in many films over the years, so it is not surprising he does it well. Maybe in another 20 years it will be a 2. In 2008 its holding its own as a 5. No really, it doesn't fair very well now.
