This is a great, though violent and bloody, action movie with an interesting depth. The story is not complex, in fact the last half of the movie is almost in ''real time'', focussed on a single chase. That sounds like it might be drawn out and dull, but it isn't. In fact I found the movie very realistic, right down to the excellent knife fighting scenes. The fights didn't look staged as they do in so many other films involving any sort of martial art. I found the acting to be fairly good, in fact Tommy Lee Jones portrayal of Tom Brown is right on the money. Much of this movie is based on and was done under the technical supervision of Tom Brown Jr. , a survival instructor in the States who does, in fact, train Special Forces troops. I have spent several weeks at his training courses and can honestly say that I could see much of Tom Brown's mannerisms and attitude in Jones' portrayal. Tracker students will not be disappointed in the skills brought to the screen, from tracking to survival skills, and even a respectful depiction of ''inner vision'' at work. Don't feel that the movie is far fetched. The skills are real, as hard as that may be for some people to believe.
